A consultation can be done over the phone, in person, by email, or regular post. You will need to provide us with a general description of your companion (name, type of animal, their color, age, breed and sex), as well as a list of questions or issues you would like addressed. If a consultation is not being done in person, it is often helpful to provide us with a picture of your companion. If you mail a photo it can be returned to you after the consultation, at your request.
Payment is due when the consultation is complete. You may pay via PayPal on any major credit card, or send us a check or money order.

Consultations usually go rather quickly and a lot of questions can be answered in the 15 minute segment. However, if you have more than one or two companions you would like to speak with, a longer consultation is recommended.
Appointments are booked in half hour increments. If you book a half hour consultation, we may not be able to accommodate running over that time - it will depend on other appointments that may already be scheduled. It is best to book for the amount of time you think you will need, and add a cushion to that. You will only be billed for the amount of time you actually use.

For consultations by email:
To do a consultation by email, email us the information on your animal(s) along with your list of questions. We will do the consultation and reply to you by email. Please allow us up to three days to complete your consultation. If you need the consultation to be done by a certain day or time, please mention that in your email and we will do our best to accommodate you.
If you have photos of your companion(s), you may attach them to your email. Please specify which animal is which in the email if you attach more than one. Please do not attach more than three pictures per email. Should you need to send more, send another email and in the subject line state "More Pics".

For consultations by mail:
To arrange for a consultation by regular mail, send us the information about your animal(s) along with your list of questions to the address shown on our Contact Page. If you include pictures of your companion(s) they will be returned to you after the consultation has been completed, at your request. Please allow up to a week for us to complete a consultation by mail. If you need the consultation done by a certain day or time, please mention that in your letter and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Please also specify in your letter if you would like to have your animals' answers mailed back to you, or if you would like us to call you. If you choose to receive a phone call and are out of our local calling area (518), the call will be made collect, at your expense. Please make sure to include your phone number in your correspondence.
